Pilipino American Unity for Progress (UniPro) and the Chinese Mutual Aid Association invite you to participate in Chicago’s 2nd annual

Philippine Graduation Ceremony

Date: Saturday, July 6, 2019
Time: 4 – 7 PM

1016 W Argyle St, Chicago, IL 60640

The event is open to all academic candidates who are Filipino American (and/or active members of the Filipino/Filipino American community) who have successfully completed coursework in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral field this year.

The Philippine Graduation Ceremony (known as P-Grad) has been a tradition for many years in colleges and universities along the West and East Coasts with high Filipino American student populations. At these ceremonies, community leaders commend the achievements made by graduating students of Filipino descent, and send them off to the next stage of their careers with words of encouragement.

We continue this tradition in order to celebrate the students in the Chicago region. Remarks will be given by Jerry Clarito and Joy Sales. Included in the itinerary are cultural performances and dinner.
