UniPro San Diego

Our mission is to serve systematically marginalized communities through education, collaboration, advocacy, and relationship development in order to empower, organize, mobilize all generations.

Our vision for the collective is that equitable resources and pathways are provided for all parts of the community for the continued growth and sustainment of progress.

UniPro San Diego is the first chapter to launch outside of New York. The vision came about when Leezel Ramos and Julius Alejandro brought together Alicia Ricafrente, Romyn Sabatchi, and Anthony Deguzman after the NaFFAA empowerment conference in 2014.

It was founded on the principles of uniting organizations in San Diego County, professional development of college students, and bridging the gap between generations.

UniPro San Diego’s launch took place at the United Domestic Worker’s building on February 6, 2015.
